About Elena
It's hard to say what women envy most about Elena - her world-champion skills in American Rhythm or the fact that she gets to showcase them with heartthrob Tony Dovolani, her dance partner.
Perhaps best known as a 2006 National Champion and World Champion, Elena's award-winning dance history dates all the way back to her childhood in Moscow, where she began dancing at the age of seven - and became Moscow's champion for her age group that very same year.
In addition to ballroom, Elena is also a trained ballet and folk dancer and participated in the Ballroom Formation Team of Russia. She was a Soviet Union finalist in all divisions of ballroom dancing during her Junior career - including Standard, Latin and 10-Dance.
Today Elena brings that experience to her students at BDC online, partnering once again with Tony Dovolani to offer expert instruction in Bolero, Cha Cha, Mambo, Rumba and Swing.
