About Lena

Passionate about ballroom dance, Lena is a performer who gives her all every time she steps on the dance floor - and it shows. Although known for her petite frame, she brings a larger-than-life presence and a lively personality to each of her BDC dance lessons.

Born in the former Soviet Union, Lena now resides in Beverly Hills with her husband and dance partner, Nick Kosovich. Together they teach Foxtrot, Tango and Waltz to BDC's online students - and enjoy every second of it, embracing Lena's personal motto: "Number one, to have fun."

Prior to joining BDC, Lena worked with ABC's Dancing with the Stars, designing intricate costumes for contestants including Vivica A. Fox, her husband's dance partner on Season Three of the show. Today, Nick and Lena own their own ballroom costume company, LeNique, which designs all the show's male costumes.
