About Nick

Nick may have retired from competitive ballroom dance in 2008, but he's far from slowing down. Known for a 30-year career in professional dance characterized by jaw-dropping American Smooth performances with his wife and partner, Lena, Nick became a primetime sensation in 2006 when he first appeared on Dancing with the Stars.

After two seasons competing on the show, Nick and Lena now work behind the scenes at Dancing with the Stars, providing all the show's male costumes through their Los Angeles-based ballroom costume company LeNique.

Nick has also appeared in a number of feature films, including recent hits Shall We Dance? and Everyone Says I Love You, as well as making regular TV appearances.

As a BDC online instructor, Nick has once again paired up with his wife Lena - this time offering once-in-a-lifetime online training in the Foxtrot, Tango and Waltz to aspiring dancers around the world.
