About Tony

A familiar face on ABC's Dancing with the Stars, Tony brings his smooth good looks and award-winning skills to BDC, where he instructs online students in the Bolero, Mambo, Cha Cha, Rumba and Swing with his partner Elena Grinenko.

Not only has Tony graced the stage in every season of Dancing with the Stars from Season Two onward, but his acting ability also earned him a central role in the hit film Shall We Dance?, where he also coached superstar Jennifer Lopez in ballroom dancing.

A lifelong dancer, Tony began his career at the age of three, learning the folk dances of his native Yugoslavia. After moving to New York City at 15, Tony was accepted to the Fred Astaire Dance Academy, where his love for ballroom dance blossomed.

Never one to skip a beat, Tony's been dancing ever since, competing in top competitions and earning some of the most prestigious ballroom dance titles in the world.
